Dr. Miller graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. In 1988 he graduated from Medical School at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. In 1989 he completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Miller completed his residency in Ophthalmology in 1992 at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. From there he went on to Moorfields Eye Hospital in London to complete a Fellowship in Medical Retina.

Dr. Miller began practicing ophthalmology in Southern California in 1993 and continued practicing there until he moved to Colorado with his wife in 1996. He is currently Chief of the Ophthalmology Section for Swedish Medical Center where he provides emergent eye care and eye trauma care. Dr. Miller has been performing laser refractive surgery since 1997 and routinely attends educational meetings in order to stay on the leading edge of ophthalmic technology. Patients can count on him to choose the best procedure to meet their individualized needs.
